My Review:

J.C. Reed has outdone herself again! The story of Jett and Brooke is one that is dangerous, HOTT, fun, and sexy. I was extermely excited for TYL after the ending from Conquer Your Love- and just as I was thinking it was going to be love and flowers I was greatly mistaken. J.C. takes the meaning Treasure to whole other level in this novel; I could not put this book down. 

Brooke was just a sweet real estate agent who has never been in love, until she meets Jett. I think Brooke has a hard time believing that it's real with Jett and makes a few choices that takes her on a major roller coster of events all while being pregnant. 

Treasure Your Love is an amazing read, it has thrill and romance that keeps you wrapped up in the novel. I give it 6 stars! You must read Surrender Your Love first, then Conquer Your Love second.

The following Saturday, Distort is playing their first weekend gig at The Edge. Cassidy and I are working together as the bar starts filling up close to capacity. I serve the reserved table their drinks as Holly constantly glares at me. Nothing, not even her, can ruin my good mood. Logan has slept over almost every night this past week. And what a week it has been!

As I walk past the stage, I can’t help but glance up at him. I love how he randomly winks at me or points to me as he plays his guitar. Being picked out of a room full of people makes a girl feel special. I smile shyly and carry on with my job.

I’m serving a group of regulars when I hear laughter and cheers all around me. I turn to see Logan standing there, singing directly to me. I'm mortified! I don't like attention in the slightest, and certainly not in a room with almost three hundred people. I put one hand over my face as Logan takes the other, falling to his knees for drastic measure. I endure it as long as possible before I tug on his hand, trying to make him stand up and stop with this nonsense. My face turns a new shade of red as he finally stops singing long enough to give me a lengthy kiss for all to see, and then continues singing as he walks over and jumps back up on stage. I know he did it just to get a rise out of me. Mission accomplished.

I continue getting sexy glances from Logan throughout the night, but he’s lucky I even look his way after that stunt. I also get a few friendly slaps on the back from some of the regulars with comments about how good we look together.

When their final set is over, I go into the side room off stage, for no other reason than to watch Logan take his shirt off. Giving me a few seconds to lust after him without his knowledge. I notice Holly is taking in an eyeful as well. I roll my eyes at her. Don’t even think about it.

As if sensing I'm near, he turns and comes over to embrace me. Giving me a lingering hug, and a hungry kiss, he asks, “Can I come over tonight?”

“Logan, you can come over any time you want. But after that shit you pulled tonight...well, I’m not so sure anymore,” I taunt.

“Oh, come on. You liked it.”

“I did not! That was extremely embarrassing. I had people coming up to me all night on account of you.”

“Well, I sure enjoyed it. I like people knowing you’re mine.”

“But I’m not yours,” I say directly.

“I hate to break it to you, but you are now,” he says with a glimmer of mischief in his eyes.

Alissa

Okay, the gorgeous, ripped guy looming over me was really angry. I couldn’t actually blame him, because falling off that cliff had been stupid. I was lucky I wasn’t dead. But almost getting killed wasn’t the only reason my heart beat faster. Not only was I safe and getting warm, really warm, I had finally gotten a really good look at the man who’d rescued me.

The guy was built. He had a powerful chest that tapered down to a lean waist and amazing washboards like I have never seen in real life. His biceps bulged with a glorious curve of muscle that literally made my mouth water. Shocked at my reaction, I could only stare.

Then there was his face. Thick, midnight black hair was brushed back off his forehead, tapering down the sides of his temples and falling on either side of his strong neck, just brushing the heavy muscles of his shoulders. His broad forehead spanned above deep-set, pale eyes with an intense gaze, with a firm chin and a hard jawline, a prominent but narrow nose, and sharply defined cheekbones. When he talked, the way he moved his mouth mesmerized me. His upper lip was thinner than the bottom, and it looked yummy and oh-so-kissable.

His chest started to heave as he met my eyes, and maybe I couldn’t quite hide my awe, but instead of looking smug, he just looked more freaked.

He turned on his heel and left the room. I wasn’t sure if he was coming back. The look on his face had been…tortured.

My curiosity jumped up a notch. While I waited, hoping he’d be back soon, I looked around. The cabin was beautiful, with its rough-hewn logs, stunning furnishings with scattered Native American throw blankets, and the huge fieldstone fireplace in front of me. I wished Dakota…what a beautiful name for a beautiful man…would put that fireplace to work, because it was getting chilly in spite of the cabin’s sturdy construction.

He finally came back into the room carrying a case. He’d put on a blue plaid shirt and buttoned it almost to his chin. I felt disappointed. Well, obviously, he couldn’t walk around half naked. It was December, for God’s sake. But, still.

He set the case down on the floor. “Let me look at your ankle,” he said, the request for my permission in his voice, but the anger still brushed each word.

I took a deep breath, but not because of the pain, but at the thought of those strong hands touching me.

When a malfunction sends their plane crashing down on the runway upon takeoff, Jamie and Grant decide to rent a car and make the nine-hundred-mile drive home together. Ironically for them, anything that can go wrong does as they face one hysterical hurdle after another.

Christmas may finally bring Jamie the gift of love she has always wanted if she and Grant can manage to overcome a few obstacles along the way. Ho-ho-ho!

My Review:

This is a great read. I loved reading No Attachments, so it was great to read about Jamie and Grant when Jamie was introduced as a cousin in No Attachments. Its a great novella that left me wanting more Grant, and throw in Christmas - oh so good. I give it 5 stars. 

I will say it did seem a bit unreal to have the "bad" luck that Jamie and Grant experienced but it worked for the story line. Jamie is so strong and driven, and then you have Grant (hottie) who makes her laugh- well she also brings that on herself too.

Tiffany is a great writer, and Cross Country Christmas is a great read. I recommend this book.
